1. What is IELTS?
There is academic IELTS and general IELTS. You are in the right place for exam preparation for academic IELTS. More information is here.
2. Are the online group sessions structured to accommodate the individual needs of each student?
Yes. In a small group it’s easy for us to dedicate individual time and attention to a student and the advantage of the group is that it doesn’t feel too intense.
You can find out more about us here, but you can be assured that with very many years of experience teaching English as a second language both in the UK and internationally including as school teachers, qualified dyslexia specialist and curriculum developers, you can be sure of the best support.

The curriculum follows exactly what will be tested in the IELTS exam. There are resources from just about everywhere, including audio, video, graphics … anything and everything that has been specially-selected to add interest and relevance to the topic and lesson. No boring workbooks or death-by-powerpoint!
In lots of ways, including smaller group and pair work, so students have authentic opportunities to talk to each other. The big advantage of online tutoring is that students can instantly go to breakout rooms to work in pairs or smaller groups, and come back and report to the whole group, or ask and answer questions. We also encourage learning through speaking to maximise the value of our lesson time. There’s plenty of time for writing longer texts outside of lessons. We’d much rather students use the advantage of the group to get lots of valuable speaking practice.
Yes, academic IELTS for students across the world.
All the information about what happens if a student misses a session can be found in the terms and conditions.
If a student needs the kind of additional support that is beyond the enrichment work contained in the each booklet and the support in our WhatsApp group, they can book 1:1 support just with us or 1:2 support if they’d like to work together with a friend and their tutor. Details are here. If we have no capacity, we can refer you to excellent tutors in our network, also for other subjects.
